Should I date a younger woman or stay with women my own age?

I am dating someone close to my age. She is six years younger than I am. I have mostly been dating women in their forties. I am 48. I have found that I am separated from a six year marriage and we dated for 10 years before that. I really have never had that many sexual partners. I dated a lot but I have only been intimate with 4-5 women my life. LOL! I say 4-5 because the first time I was so much of a failure in bed I don't really count it. I have been dating since my wife left the house and my second girlfriend and I got intimate and she had over 25 guys. That didn't last. Now I am dating this girl, woman, and she has had 6 guys. But I am doing the math. I've had 4. She's had 6. I am supposed to have more experience as the guy. We have only been dating a month so far. If she breaks up with me, should I consider dating a woman in her 30s or younger? Teenagers, 18 or 19 are out of the question. Forget that. I was talking to a 24 year old sales woman in the mall and she told me "you are old enough to be my dad." Twice her age. Not good.
It is difficult to find a woman my age that is less experienced in bed than I am. Does that matter? Am I being old fashioned to assume that a man has to have more experience than a woman in order to be compatible with her sexually? My GF tells me that I am great at foreplay and oral sex but I feel like I am stumbling at intercourse. I take medication for ED and that helps but I still feel like I am learning with her. I had no sex life in my marriage and I will be divorced in two weeks.
The last GF and I broke up because I got the sense that she became frustrated with my lack of experience in bed. She told me that she slept with over 25 guys and even that was an estimate and she really has no idea. I think she just got tired of teaching me this and that and dealing with a man with whom all this stuff is new and she has already been there many times before with men who had been through the ringer.
Now with the new GF, the 4 to 6 ratio is not as bad as the 3 to 25 ratio with the last GF. She was a virgin when she got married. Then when she divorced she had a few one night stands and then a few relationships that lasted a few months. I only had one, one night stand and four relationship experiences with wife and three GFs. No, I am not the 40 Year Old Virgin. I do feel like him sometimes.
I feel very insecure about my experience with women and it is driving me crazy. I fear that my current GF will leave me soon if I don't make her satisfied. Foreplay and oral simply isn't good enough to keep her. She tells me she loves me. On Saturday night in bed I thought she was crying because I made her feel so good. It is a good sign.
I am seeing a sex therapist today. I might see an escort to make sure my body is working okay and I am too embarrassed to be working this out with my GF.
She let me borrow a sex book and she wants me to read it. I asked her if she has done anal sex and she said she has. I have tried it with my other partners and it was always a failure. Right now I am struggling to get regular sex going and she is talking about going there.
If my current GF leaves me because the sex with me is lousy, should I
1) Date a younger woman next time? Range 25-39?
2) What age range or women should I consider dating in the future? I am 48.
3) How can I save my relationship with my current GF? I am spending $200 a week on average dating this girl.
4) Should I take a break from dating and seek the services of female escorts to improve my sexual experience before dating and getting intimately involved with girlfriends?
One last thing. One of my Y!A people suggested that I get a love doll. He sent me a link to this website. These dolls cost about $6,000. It's like getting a car. The guys I have shown the site to think many of the models are hot. But the female friends who have seen the dolls just laugh.
I am starting to ramble at this point. I am very frustrated. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Constructive criticism only. Please do not start lecturing me about dating while I am separated. My wife and I went to court and we are legally separated. I checked with my divorce lawyer and there is nothing illegal about what I am doing dating these women. Please no Sunday school sermons from the Moral Majority here. Suggestions are appreciated.

"I am supposed to have more exerience, being the guy".....don't sabotage yourself. As soon as sex becomes about ego, you wobn't be able to get it up...good sex is about pleasuring the other person. Your rewards are built in, trust me...

Stay with your partner if you love each other, and discover what you like between the two of you..Comparing your experience to others is ridiculous. Do you want to be unique.

I am also six years older than my fiance. We are very compatible. I have found a large difference in age to be a recipe for disaster!
